Buying a property in The New Golden Mile

The New Golden Mile is an expanse of land from the west part of Guadalmina, all the way to the central Estepona. The name arose from the the success and exclusivity of the nearby “Golden Mile” in Marbella. It was given to this area during the peak of property market way back in early 2000’s. This name is only commonly used on the coast and not the official name though.

The New Golden Mile is so closely located along the beachside of the A7 coastal road, where most properties for sale are found. However, they are quite distant from most of the basic amenities, such as a supermarket. Thus, cars, taxis or coastal road bus services are of great importance.

During 2014, the New Golden Mile has undoubtedly become one of the premier destinations of property buyers on the southern coast, which has seen an enormous price hike and an increase of property sales which is expected to continue up to late 2015. There is a wide variety of properties for sale in The New Golden Mile, Estepona, with plenty of new exceptional developments, such as luxury apartments and penthouses in awe-inspiring beachfront locations. It is likewise the home to a great commercial centre named Laguna Village, where one can find lots of designer shops as well as the world famous Puro Beach club.
